The ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 Card is a PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion card that adds up to four M.2 NVMe slots to a desktop system — delivering up to 512 Gbps of bandwidth with a full-cover active heatsink to keep drives cool under sustained load.
- PCIe 5.0 x16 interface — up to 512 Gbps of bandwidth, 8X that of a single PCIe 4.0 drive.
- 4 x M.2 slots (Key M) — supports 2242 / 2260 / 2280 / 22110 PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 NVMe drives.
- Active cooling — full-cover heatsink with a blower-style fan plus top and bottom thermal pads; connects to the motherboard chassis fan header and is adjustable in ASUS Fan Xpert 4.
- RAID support — build a bootable RAID array with up to four M.2 SSDs (requires CPU and motherboard PCIe bifurcation support).
- Power and monitoring — 6-pin PCIe power connector (up to 14 W per drive), 1 x M.2 fan power switch and 4 x M.2 access LEDs.
